- Accumulator
- A single bet that links multiple selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to a team to level the playing field, eliminating the draw option and often offering fractional advantages.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting; managing it helps you stay within your limits.
- Bonus Terms
- The rules and conditions attached to a bonus, including wagering requirements, eligible games, and time limits.
- Both Teams to Score
- A bet on whether both sides will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Cashback
- A promotion that returns a percentage of your net losses over a set period, usually as a bonus or free bet.
- Decimal Odds
- A way of expressing odds as a single number that includes the stake; multiply your stake by this number to calculate total return.
- Edge
- The advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker’s odds; a positive edge means the bet has value.
- Fractional Odds
- A traditional odds format showing the profit relative to the stake; for example, 5/1 means you win five units for each unit bet.
- Free Bet
- A bonus token you can use to place a bet without risking your own money; any winnings are usually yours, minus the free bet stake.
- Juice
- The commission a bookmaker charges for taking a bet, built into the odds.
- Kelly Criterion
- A mathematical formula that calculates the optimal size of a bet based on your edge and odds.
- KYC
- The process of verifying a player’s identity and age to comply with legal and security standards.
- Live Betting
- Placing bets on events while they are already in progress, with odds that update as the action unfolds.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win a match outright, with odds displayed as a positive or negative number.
- Odds Boost
- A promotion that increases the odds on a specific selection, offering a higher potential payout.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals (or points) in a match will be higher or lower than a set number.
- Parlay
- Another word for an accumulator; a bet that combines several selections into one.
- Push
- A tie result in a bet where the stake is returned and no profit or loss is made.
- Risk-Free Bet
- A bet that is refunded (often as a free bet) if it loses, protecting you from a total loss.
- RTP
- The percentage of total money wagered that a game pays back to players over time.
- Self-Exclusion
- A tool that lets you temporarily or permanently block your own account to help control gambling behavior.
- Volatility
- A measure of how often and how much a game can pay out; high volatility means big but rare wins.
- Wagering Requirement
